Currently, aluminum blinds are most common in commercial or office settings. They are sometimes used
in residential homes. Aluminum blinds come in a large assortment of colours and come in both 1” and 2”
slat sizes. Spring-tempered slats will bounce back and resist kinks and dents. However, user misuse will
crimp and permanently damage the slats.

A common cord lock system raises and lowers the blind. When compared to faux wood or real wood
blinds these are far less heavy and much easier to raise and lower. The tilt wand control will easily rotate
the slats to allow as much or little light into the room. Fully rotate the slats in either direction to enjoy
full privacy. Aluminum blinds can be feather dusted or wiped down with a damp cloth. The dust resistant finish is great to prevent soiling the blinds. Aluminum blinds do require cleaning more often because of the
horizontal design.
